Bartender and drinks were great, but my receipt doesn't match the prices that were on the menu. Didn't get my itemized receipt until after I left via email.

Fab food and service, love the staff and atmosphere. I always get a good recommendation for food and drink here! Great local spot in Midtown and welcome to all. I recommend the Gin Ricky and Bowser Bluff wrap!

Battle Pony is the most elite establishment within the capitol of our great state of Florida. Be it small, it is MIGHTY! Mostly, due to a master barsmith by the name of Riley. Though he is a man of few words his cocktails speak the story of a thousand millennia. Do not pass up the opportunity to visit this 9th wonder of the world.

I really like this bar. I go into other bars and they play different types of music over the sound system. And I like music of all kinds. But the problem is, other bars don’t play Steely Dan. Battle Pony does, and that makes me like Battle Pony, the Steely Dan that is.

The bartender, Riley, is a magician. I’m a type 1 diabetic and it can be boring or depressing to go to a cocktail bar because everything always has tons of sugar in it other than, like, a dry martini. It was a quiet night so I asked Riley if he could make something with gin that had negligible sugar in it and he produced first this exquisite gin basil cucumber gimlet with just a touch of elderflower liqueur and then a “smash” with some of the same things plus soda water. He heard me and he made me a drink that wasn’t only accessible to be but also really really delicious - and beautiful. I checked my glucose sensor a couple of times that evening. My blood sugar never budged. Also brilliant for those who just don’t want the extra sugar for whatever health or personal reason. That being said, my husband got a drink that had a toasted marshmallow garnish and he loooved it, too. Lol. Thank you, Riley. We had a wonderful night thanks to you!

We stopped in for a drink while coming through town, really small place attached to a really neat pizzeria (we did not order food but it looked good). The bartender was amazing and had a fabulous martini and my husband had local Brew on tap. Loved it.
